COVID-19 Event Protocols & Guidelines

The John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) is excited to host the Annual Biomedical Sciences & Health Disparities Symposium as a hybrid event for Spring 2022. For any in-person sessions held during this event, JABSOM complies and strictly adheres to the University of Hawaii COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policies. Our priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our community. And so, we kindly require that all participants and attendees provide verification of their vaccination status or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to the event date. For this event, we ask that you provide this information through the Lumisight UH application.

Please download the Lumisight app (https://uh.campus.lumisight.com/) prior to your arrival to the check-in desk.

  • For UH or RCUH students, faculty, or staff, please log-in or create an account to upload your documents.
  • For visitors, please create an account via the ‘Visitor’ log-in and upload your documents accordingly.

For the safety of our community, please note that the symposium is not open to the public.

Please note that all visitors to the UH Manoa campus are required to complete the Lumisight UH Daily Health Check-in and must show the “You may report to campus” status. To receive an all-clear status:

  • Your vaccination information must be uploaded and verified on the LumiSight UH app
  • OR a proof of a negative COVID-19 test from a state approved facility had been uploaded and verified on the Lumisight UH app
  • AND you must have cleared the daily health screening for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure.

Further, we kindly require all participants to wear face masks while indoors and outdoors on the Kaka’ako campus.
